Today we have released a new Analytics feature in FacileThings that will allow you to analyze your personal productivity. We believe that getting regular feedback on how you are doing things can help your personal productivity in two ways:
- Having objective data, not just feelings, will allow you to see when and where you are wavering, and will help you make better decisions.
- Having greater control of your GTD system will motivate you and make it harder to fall off the wagon.
In the Dashboard section, you have an overview of your activity this week:
Data about processing indicate the percentage of tasks you process every time you enter the Process section. What is most valued here is to empty the whole inbox. By the way, we did not gather this information in the past, so you will not see data prior to this week.
The time it takes you to complete a task indicates how much time elapses from when you process something as an action (Next Actions, Calendar or Waiting for) until you get it done.
The Collecting, Processing and Doing sections are very similar. They provide you with weekly, monthly and annual information about the implementation of these stages. The Doing section also allows you to filter this info by project, goal, area of responsibility, vision, tag or routines:
Finally, you have a Projects section where you can see how each project is progressing, and what ones you are leaving out. You can also filter projects by goal, area of responsibility and vision.
