In FacileThings we have just published the new user interface for the Routines section, formerly known as Recurring Tasks. We have incorporated the new design of the website and the edge technologies that had already implemented in the Project Management section. Try it by clicking the Try the new UI button in the Routines section.
Routines are tasks or events that you have to bear mind from time to time. Such tasks simplify your life, since they let you automate much of your business. In addition to the existing features for this type of tasks, we have added a couple of improvements:
Routines for the next few days
In the left pane you can see a reminder of the routines scheduled for next week:
Routines with no deadline
There is a new advanced option when defining routines. Now you can set if the date is mandatory, in which case the action generated will go to your Calendar (e.g. a working meeting that takes place every Monday at 10am), or it is a nonbinding target date, in which case it will go to your Next Actions list (e.g. fertilize the garden every 4 months).
It is desirable that the latter tasks remain inactive until a few days before. This way, they will not bother you in the Next Actions list until the right time.
Learn how to be a more productive, less stressed person. Try for free the whole application.
