Glossary of terms

Subproject

It is a set of actions related to a larger project that have their own meaning and objective within it and, therefore, can be treated as a smaller component within the main project to which they belong.

From a GTD point of view, subprojects are not necessary. You can divide your more complex projects into smaller subprojects, or simply treat those parts as separate projects; ultimately it depends on your personal preferences.
