May 2026: Here Is Where We Are At

Hello everyone!

  1. Announcement: We are developing a public API v2 for FacileThings. This new version will be very user-friendly for both developers and LLMs. The goal is to build an MCP server on it and define skills so you can interact with the information you store in FacileThings from your favorite AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.).
  2. For those who used the Braintoss app to capture things in FacileThings, bad news: this integration no longer works. A few weeks ago, Braintoss released a major update to its app with a radical architectural change, removing the unique email address setting that enabled integration with FacileThings. As a medium-term alternative, our new app will allow you to intelligently capture voice notes.
  3. Over the past month, we’ve released seven updates to the Beta app (v0.1.15 → v0.1.22) with many changes.

We’re going to incorporate a real-time changelog page into the app itself so beta testers can see what’s being done at any time. In the meantime, I’ve included a summary of the changes made since our last newsletter at the end of this post. 1

The calendar has become more prominent in the new version. It’s now directly accessible from the main menu, occupies the entire available space, and even allows you to capture events directly on it:

That’s all for now.

Thanks Francisco,

always great news. I especially love the new calendar UI.

My invitation to the beta must have been lost, though ! 🤔
